Abstract: Embedded devices are set to take centre stage in the coming internet connected revolution where anything and everything will be connected to the internet. But are the Devices, Operating Systems, Protocols and Services mature enough for what the future holds for them? This session looks at the requirements of an internet connected embedded device and the necessary protocols and services required and available, then, it goes into some implications of the currently known vulnerabilities.
